In the 1980s and 1990s, HIV was treated with fear and stigma. More than a health issue, it became a social sentence, reinforced by sensationalist headlines that shaped the imagination of an entire generation. But what if we had the chance to retell this story? To show that time has passed, that fear has given way to knowledge and that the future can be different from what they once tried to make us believe?
